Jenny Hunter Groat is a musician, dancer-choreographer, teacher, calligrapher and painter. She danced with Halprin-Latrhop Dance Company and Jenny Hunter Dance Group. After having received international notice for dance-works in various experimental styles, Groat turned to the "fine art" possibilities of Western calligraphy with emphasis on gesture.
